Lupromax Australia Website Launched

Vappro Corrosion Control Australia is pleased to announce the launch of the Lupromax Australia website.

LUPROMAX®-EA is a proprietary metal and engine oil conditioner. Lupromax-EA Engine Oil Additive is a slightly viscous amber liquid developed as an oil additive to protect the surfaces of metal against premature wearing that occurs with even the best of conventional oils.

Lupromax-EA is an anti-friction oil additive concentrate, formulated with a proprietary sulfurized ester and petroleum base product. It uses Heat Activated Technology (HAT) to achieve exceptional lubrication results. When activated by heat, the E.P. (Extreme Pressure) agent in Lupromax-EA attaches itself to the metal surface, sealing the pores of metal surfaces and smoothening surface asperities without changing any tolerances

Lupromax-EA blends easily with other lubricants when mixed with lubrication fluids, making it a very versatile additive for enhancing numerous lubrication applications.

Several products are available with solid particle additives (graphite, moly, Teflon) in an effort to add extreme pressure capability to the lubricant. Lupromax lubricants are non-particulate, containing only pure petroleum and petroleum additives, and perform without the negatives associated with solid particle additives. It is a non-harmful environmentally friendly metal conditioner, which will have no adverse effects on any components within the engine, including filters.

Vappro 830 VCI Mineral Stone Paper

Vappro Corrosion Control Australia is pleased to announce that our partner, Magna International Pte Ltd, has received the global patent for VCI Mineral Stone Paper. This patent involves the production of VCI Paper without the use of wood pulp, as Vappro 830 VCI Mineral Stone Paper comprises a combination of calcium carbonate, silica, sand, polypropylene resin and proprietary synergistic corrosion inhibitors. Vappro 830 VCI Mineral Stone Paper is therefore a viable alternative to pulp-based standard anti-corrosion paper –without the use of trees, water, chlorine, acids or petroleum in it's production process. Vappro 830 VCI Mineral Stone Paper consists of minerals such as calcium carbonate, one of the most common substances on the planet. It is found in the shells of marine organisms, pearls, and eggshells, or as natural by-products of water and limestone  in quarries.

Inhibition of Seawater Steel Corrosion Via Colloid Formation

In late 2015 Dr Nelson Cheng published a research paper in the International Journal of Emerging Technology and Advanced Engineering which we have great pleasure in sharing with you. The purpose of the research was to establish the effectiveness of the Vappro 844 corrosion inhibitor for seawater on verious metalic materials; carbon steel, aluminium and copper alloy, at different concentrations via colloid formation.
